Briefing by PBA officers, then climb uphill and reward yourself with the magnificent view of a thundering waterfall, from which the name ‘Waterfall Garden’ originated.

Tour B: Penang Hill
Train ride on coach pulled by cable on funicular railway, a heritage engineering masterpiece, found no where else in Southeast Asia. Alight ¾ way up the hill at Viaduct Station, then trek on foot (3 km) enjoying tranquility and nature appreciation. A glimpse of some huge magnificent Shorea trees and other flora in our fascinating rainforest. Snakes? Have to be extremely lucky to meet one. Leeches? These blood sucking creatures are disappearing in urbanized Penang. You don’t often see long-tail macaques here, but occasionally some dusky-leaf monkeys may be doing acrobatic shows swinging and jumping from tree to tree. Flying lemur and giant black squirrel may appear from no where. Certainly you can try canopy walk near the summit. Walk to the Strawberry Hill for tea or treat yourself with colorful multi-tier ice kacang or ABC at the stalls. Continue to enjoy the panoramic view, hassle-free setting, or take a picture with a python (if the snake handler is there)…then come down via funicular railway.

Cost: Train fare RM4 & canopy walk RM5.

Tour C: Inner City Heritage/religious Walk (subject to a minimum of 30 persons)
Walking (3 hours) in the inner city of George Town, appreciating various architectures of old heritage buildings, endangered traditional trades and religious grounds of old mosques, temples (Indian & Chinese) and churches, Little India and bustling life in the inner city.
