It is the time to celebrate and recall the historical moments of triumph and tribulation that have formed the organisation into the vital 21 st century force it is today. As one of the oldest SEAMEO regional centres in the region, RECSAM has effectively served its mandate as a SEAMEO centre to deliver human resource development services in the region and beyond. Since its inception in 1967, RECSAM has exempli fi ed excellence and leadership. The Centre has been in fl uential in pushing for science and mathematics education motivated by values, stimulated by change and inspired by development in the region.
