The fi rst MTCP courses; “Professional Development Programme for Science Teacher Educators of Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Vietnam” and “Professional Development Programme for Science Teacher Educators of Paci fi c Islands Forum and Latin American Countries” were fi rst implemented in 2014. The total number of participant were 14 and 4 respectively. SEAMEO RECSAM continuously collaborates with these institutions Dr. Azian T.S. About 237 participants from Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Lesotho, Malawi, Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, North Sudan, SouthSudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia have bene fi ted from TCTP JICA programmes since 2008 till 2016. Countries that have bene fi ted from TCTP Colombo programmes are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Iran, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand. A total of 173 educators were trained since 2008 till 2013 and in 2015 under TCTP Colombo programmes. Since 2014 till 2016, MTCP programmes have bene fi ted 60 over participants from Bangladesh, Belize, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Timor Leste and Uzbekistan.
