102 publications were the outcomes of a close working arrangement between staff and participants who submitted their research outputs, contributed articles on one hand, and the Division, which took care of editorial, technical and production requirement on the other. External contributions of articles for the Journal were also solicited. RECSAM’s publications were completed by multi-image and computer- programmed audio-visual presentations, book displays, press coverages and interpersonal communication, through which signi fi cant events and In 1976, phase II of RECSAM physical development projects were completed. The librarywas the fi rst unit tomigrate from the MTC premises to the new complex of RECSAM. Subsequently, AVA Unit and the Printing Unit were placed in the same annex to the Library-Information building. All the three units were able to expand their functions rapidly in the Clearing House. In 1977, the Printing Unit received new printing equipment from the American and Australian governments which included thecomposer-typesetter, a small offset printing machine, an electrostatic plate maker, a collator, a folding machine and a guillotine. The three typists working in the unit were sent for training as composer-type-setters. With these developments the Printing Unit became more independent and were able to do in-house publication for some of the printing documents for RECSAM. Course assignments, modules and report of conferences / workshops organised by the Centre were printed in-house. Instructional and reference materials developed at RECSAM by regular courses participants as resource materials for SEAMEO member countries were also published. Most of these
