In July 1978, RECSAM made history when it published the fi rst issue of “ Journal of Science and Mathematics Education in Southeast Asia ” as itsmaidenpublication. The journal became the masterpiece publication with a world-wide distribution until the present day and is of great academic value and circulated widely throughout the region and beyond. The fi rst series of monographs were also published in year 2003, which serve as a supplement to the Journal and carry a single theme related to the teaching or learning of science, mathematics and technology. Quarterly editions of the Centre’s newsletter and fi nal reports of the Centre’s Governing Board Meeting and Five-Year Development Plan were also published and disseminated. Meanwhile, the library had also been receiving increased volumes of RECSAM publications. The three units remained in operation in the Clearing House under the same roof until the 90s. In late 1997, under the Publication Unit, the printery was upgraded and shifted to the current location. With series of changes in the organisational structure and the introduction of new units under various divisions in the last decade, the units functioning in the Clearing House were revamped. The AVA unit has been gradually taken over by the ICT unit while the functions of the information unit have been moved and shared by the ICT, Publication and Library units. The modes for the dissemination of information have also changed and carried out via social media, homepage and electronic mails. Publications are not only solely disseminated to SEAMEO
