CoSMEd is held biennially with a speci fi c theme each time. The fi rst CoSMEd was organised and hosted solely by RECSAM in 2005 and the years following, RECSAM was able to forge partnerships and collaborations with the Ministry of Education Malaysia and various leading public and private institutions of higher learning in Malaysia, SEAMEO sister centres and teacher organisations both in national and regional levels.
