Basically, CoSMEd is organised to operationalise RECSAM’s strategic goal – to ensure strong collaboration and active networking with experts, institutions and the community. CoSMEd takes prides in bringing and converging internationally renowned scientists, experts, researchers and educators in science and mathematics in the Asian region and beyond. CoSMEd serves as a platform to review issues, exchange ideas and share experiences on the current development of science and mathematics education at all levels, to widen and strengthen International Conference on Science and Mathematics Education (CoSMEd) cooperation among a consortium of international organisations, educational institutions for greater dissemination and exchange of expertise and establish professional networking among science and mathematics educators locally and globally.
